Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the One mobile and desktop applications ("One," "the app," or "the Service") provided by Rodgers Tanui ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using One, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
One is a productivity application that helps you record a single daily priority, track completion, view history and statistics, and optionally record periodic reflections on supported versions of iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, and macOS.
2. Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use One. If you use One on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
3. License
Subject to these Terms and your payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use One for personal, non-commercial purposes on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and App Store rules.
4. Purchase and payment
One is sold as a one-time purchase through the Apple App Store (currently $9.99 USD or regional equivalent). Payment is processed by Apple. No subscription or in-app purchases are required. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's refund policies.
5. Apple-specific terms
These Terms are between you and Rodgers Tanui, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for One. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of task titles, notes, and reflections you enter in One. You are solely responsible for your content. We do not claim ownership and do not access your content on our servers because One stores data on your device and, if enabled, in your personal iCloud account.
7. iCloud and device storage
Sync availability depends on Apple's services and your network connection. You are responsible for maintaining backups through export or iCloud/device backups.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to use One in any unlawful manner, attempt to interfere with the app's operation or security, use automated means to abuse the Service, or misrepresent your affiliation with us.
9. Disclaimers
ONE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee specific productivity outcomes.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rodgers Tanui shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim, or USD $9.99, whichever is greater.
11. Changes
We may update One and these Terms from time to time at one.rodgerslabs.com/terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence apply.
